LAB Ventures is organizing the first-ever event in Miami that brings together the start-ups developing disruptive technologies, angel investors, and established global travel brands. Technology is an integral part of today’s travel experience, from booking to electronic boarding passes, digital concierge services to interactive city guides at , virtual reality tours to drone photography, new technology is continuing to reshape the way we move around, stay, and play.

For this unique event, LAB Ventures has created a complete program that combines pitch sessions from the region’s most interesting and disruptive start-ups, compelling panel discussions and keynote speeches addressing the ever-accelerating tech trends in travel!

You’ll have the opportunity to learn from 10 startups that offer services ranging from rental car metasearch and multi/modal travel booking to interactive city guides and hotel management systems. Established travel companies and venture investors will also have the opportunity to meet one-on-one with the start-ups.

Co-Founder & CEO of Oasis (www.oasiscollections.com), an innovative hospitality company where Hotel meets Home. Founded in 2009, Oasis operates in 25 cities in 14 countries, with the mission of seamlessly plugging travelers into the world’s great destinations.

In 2006 I moved from NYC to Buenos Aires, and through that experience realized that there should be a better way to a) find a place to stay and b) get plugged into a new city, so I set out to create a company that would do both. Originally based in Argentina and Brazil, in 2014 we moved our HQ to Miami, a city which I now technically call home, but only manage to spend 30% of my time in.

My prior experience includes finance, film, restaurants and property design, and my passions pretty much match those areas (except for finance…).
