Jon Fox

Jon Fox

Jon Fox, a serial entrepreneur, began his career trading merchandise globally from his home at 20 years old. Within a couple years, he had turned his hobby into a 25 million dollar distribution company.  Fox has spun up and exited multiple companies in the transportation and food services verticals, including Beachwood Distribution, and Deja Foods and currently owns Lewisco Holdings, an international distribution company. Over the course of his career Fox has shipped billions of dollars in cargo.

Most recently, Fox co-founded Fr8 Network. Recognizing the fractured nature of the $13 trillion global logistics industry, Fr8 Network is developing the Fr8 Protocol, a standardized protocol data layer creating seamless information flow throughout the entire logistics chain by allowing any system to connect to the same data as the single source of truth. The Fr8 Protocol defines data and connectivity standards for any stakeholder in any region, enabling new efficiencies and capabilities for logistics systems worldwide.

Fox also serves as Managing Director of 2857 Capital, a family investment office. His expertise focuses specifically in capital markets, and marketplace opportunities that unite fractured industries.

Fox is an advocate of distributed systems and their impact on both social and economic systems.  He is a frequent public speaker, offering thought leadership on how blockchain will impact the future of freight, logistics, and supply chain.
